Who we are

Our mission is to reduce food waste through eating healthy and saving money! By helping people recognize the potential of the food they already have and showing them what they can create with it, we can significantly reduce the global problem of food waste and maximize meal potential. The average person wastes 325 pounds of food annually, which is equivalent to around 260 meals and 2,700 snacks. But the impact goes beyond individual households—the U.S. alone contributes to $161 billion in food waste each year, equating to more than two-thirds of the nation's food supply being discarded.

This staggering waste not only represents a lost opportunity to feed those in need but also contributes to 6-8% of global greenhouse gas emissions, further exacerbating climate change. By raising awareness and empowering people to make the most of their food, I believe we can make a real difference in reducing food waste on a global scale!
